Who’s Christ?

You may have noticed this reoccurring name or heard us talk about Him as we went through your town.  Jesus Christ is His name and saving people is what He is all about!  Now when I say saving people I don’t mean Clark Kent Superman style, but saving us from our own sinful nature.  We all have this problem with our human flesh called sin.  It is unavoidable because we all make mistakes and do stupid things in our lives.  These actions tend to weigh a person down to a point that they may think there is no escape.  But the reality of it is there is a way to be forgiven of our wrong doings and walk a path that leads to a hopeful, fulfilling life with an eternal ending. 

The way this occurs is by accepting Jesus Christ into your life and letting Him take the reigns to direct your path.  All you have to do is; “Confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved.” (Rom 10:9)  Christ came to earth as the Son of God to purify us of our sins by dying on the cross.  In Roman 6:23 it says; “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” What Christ has to offer us is a gift called Salvation, nothing that we could ever earn, but something freely given.  The reason this gift was given to us is explained in John 3:16, which says; “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God loves us and wants us to spend eternity with Him.
